Innovative, disruptive, enterprising trends and models in the arts festival scene

Ahead of Visiting Arts' International Producers' Breakfast 2017 during the Edinburgh Festivals we invite the Creative Tracks network to participate in this year's topic and share experience
Visiting Arts will celebrate its 40th anniversary this year and we look forward to marking it at the Edinburgh Festivals where so much of our work and so many of the artists we have worked with have appeared and developed their practice. Over the years, VA has supported artists and cultural managers connect worldwide to develop collaborations and expand their markets.
The International Producers' Breakfast, taking place on August 24th, is presented in partnership with Creative Scotland and has become an important annual event for Scottish and international arts professionals working in or attending the Edinburgh Festivals, creating the opportunity for 200 UK and international producers, programmers and creators with a passion for international and intercultural performance to come together, make new connections and sow seeds of collaboration, exchange and partnership for the coming year.
This year, the panel discussion will focus on innovative and enterprising festival models.
Share your festival experiences, cutting-edge and disruptive festivals/ festival productions, thoughts about the future...

Leave a reply if you will be attending the Edinburgh Festivals! Is it your first time? Are you participating or just visiting? What are you looking forward to?

How do you create the perfect balance of an inspiring and memorable programme with the right measures in place to support the smooth running for both organisers and participants?
