Association Tunisienne d'Esthetique et Poïetique (Tunisia), Ares Organization (Turkey),
Theatro tsi Zakynthos (Greece), launches a Call for Participation in a theater workshop, within
the frame of the International Artistic Residency Women! Daphne, Echo, Io and the others,
that will take place in Lecce at Astragali Theatre from 10 to 20 February 2017.
The international workshop aims at the creation of the theatrical co-production
"Metamorphosis", which will be presented in Lecce at the end of the Residency and will be
directed by Fabio Tolledi, director of Astràgali Teatro.
The residency is part of the wider international project Women! Daphne, Echo, I and the
others, realized with the support of Anna Lindh Foundation for the Euro-Mediterranean
dialogue, which develops actions in Italy and in Tunisia.
The project aims to promote exchanges and cooperation between young theatre artists of
Euro-Mediterranean area, promoting the values of peace, intercultural dialogue, mutual
knowledge, in order to fight prejudices and preconceptions that continually produce conflicts.
A priority of the project is also to promote the artistic work of young actresses, offering training
opportunities and joint creation work, as well as to produce moments of reflection on the
status of women and the role of women in conflict-resolution processes.
The workshop will have a daily schedule of 8 hours and will be conducted by Fabio Tolledi
and by Astragali Theatre actresses.
This Call for Participation is addressed to young actresses (aged between 18 and 35 years
old) from Tunisia and Mediterranean countries.
Workshop Dates: from 10/02 to 20/02/2017
Venue: Astragali Theatre - Via Giuseppe Candido, 23- Lecce (Italy)
Participation in the workshop is free. Travel, food and lodging are at participants' expenses.
How to submit the application
Participants must submit the following documents in English (Italian or French) to the email

• An updated Curriculum Vitae, including phone number and e-mail
• A short motivation letter (max. 400 words), specifying what is expected from the residence.
Important: a good knowledge of English or French is required. The correspondence is through
e-mail, otherwise only upon specific request of the organizers.
Deadline for Submissions: 6th January 2017.
Each applicant will be notified the outcome of assessment within few days from the
application expiry, in order to enable the organization of your journey.The candidate admitted
to the residency is asked to provide written confirmation of participation.
