Creative Tracks Ambassador
Anna Karina Jardin is a Filipina Entrepreneur and visual artist championing children’s right and capacity building through the arts. Seeing art and creativity as an efficient way of transforming the next generation, she founded Artistikong Kabataan Philippines Inc., a non-profit organization in 2011. She also founded ARTDIALOGO, a platform and initiative to promote intercultural dialogue and community development thru arts which was recently held and supported by the governments of Malaysia and Philippines in 2016.
In 2004 she has been sighted as one the youngest competitors for the NOMA Concours story book illustration contest in Japan. In 2006, she was awarded as one of the Mondialogo junior ambassadors for spearheading a project creating a “Peace Calendar” by UNESCO and Daimler Chrysler in Rome, Italy. Her artistic skills has earned her numerous awards during her grade school days at JASMS Manila and high school years at the Philippine Women’s University-Junior Middle Division (JMD);and by different institutions like Faber Castel illustration contest (200-2003- Gold), CMLI (2001- Gold), YMCA (2002-Gold, 2005-Silver), and Sining Cesko, Czech Embassy in the Philippines (2011 2nd prize winner).
She pursued a degree on International Relations majoring in Diplomacy at the Lyceum of the Philippines University (2008-2012). Her experience advocating and working on improving the lives of out of school youth, children and persons with disability; and her passion for creating advocacies has been featured and recognized in and outside the country by the media and by institutions, having her being invited to share the motivation and inspiration in numerous occasions such as TEDx Kuala Lumpur, ASEAN Youth Congress Indonesia, International Youth Center (IYC), World Assembly of Youth- Melacca International Youth Dialogue , RAKAN MUDA and the Ministry of Youth and Sports Malaysia and many others. She is also being consulted for creative related CSR by corporations locally internationally.
She has the gift to relate with people of different backgrounds; She believes that working with people from different walks of life would sharpen her skills and knowledge not only in her field of study but in life. She values the hard work of her parents and the worth of dreams and lessons learnt from her mentors both in the field of arts and in business. She has just completed her Masters Degree on Development Policy at De La Salle University (2015). Currently she is actively advocating for social inclusion and intercultural dialogue as she devotes her time and talents in nurturing other young leaders, teaching art to children with autism and refugees within her region, ASEAN.
